Medina City Schools offers community chance to drive a bus
“Drive the Hive” event June 6 will introduce residents to careers in student transportation
Medina City Schools is inviting community members to get behind the wheel and explore careers in student transportation during the “Drive the Hive” Bus Event on Saturday, June 6, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Medina City Schools Transportation Department, 1122 W. Smith Road.
The event is designed for anyone interested in becoming a school bus driver. Attendees will have the opportunity to test-drive a school bus, learn more about the position and speak with transportation staff about training and the hiring process.
Participants must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver’s license to take part in the test-drive experience.
“Drive the Hive” offers residents a hands-on opportunity to learn more about driving for Medina City Schools and the important role transportation staff play in supporting students each day.
Community members with questions can contact the Medina City Schools Transportation Department for additional information.
