The open house is part of a broader celebration recognizing LST’s five decades of service since it began operations in 1976 as the emergency medical provider for the city of Medina.

Today, the organization provides advanced life support services across Medina, Medina Township and Montville Township, responding to more than 6,100 calls each year. Staffed by six paramedics on duty around the clock, LST crews deliver care in the field and coordinate closely with hospital staff to ensure continuity of treatment.
Officials say the open house is an opportunity for residents to see firsthand how emergency services operate and to recognize the paramedics who serve the community every day.
The Medina Life Support Team operates from three stations across its coverage area, including the hospital-based Station 4, which allows for direct coordination with emergency department staff and faster patient care.
As LST celebrates its 50th anniversary, organizers say the focus remains on continuing to evolve with new training, technology and strategies to meet the needs of the community.
