MCBDD to host job and provider resource fair
Event will connect job seekers with developmental disabilities service providers and career opportunities
The Medina County Board of Developmental Disabilities is inviting job seekers, families and community members to explore career opportunities and local resources at its Direct Support Professional Job and Provider Resource Fair on June 10 from 2:30-4:30 p.m. at the Medina County Achievement Center, 4691 Windfall Road.
The event is designed as a one-stop opportunity to connect job seekers with local agencies offering employment opportunities and services in the developmental disabilities field.
Attendees can learn about careers and meet face-to-face with agencies that are actively hiring direct support professionals and other positions that support individuals with developmental differences.
Whether exploring a new career path or looking for ways to make a difference in someone’s life, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, connect with local providers and learn about available resources.
Job seekers are encouraged to bring a current résumé and photo ID.
Registration is appreciated but not required. For more information or to register, visit the MCBDD event calendar at mcbdd.org or contact Crystal Brodzenski, MCBDD community projects supervisor, at cbrodzenski@mcbdd.org or 330-725-7751, ext. 128.
