From May 3-9, the city of Medina is celebrating Small Business Week and Economic Development Week.

On May 5, the city’s Economic Development Committee met with representatives from the U.S. Small Business Administration Cleveland office. At that time, Mayor Jim Shields presented a proclamation from the city to Terry Bolden, district director of the U.S. SBA Cleveland office; Clark Bihag, SBA Cleveland office deputy director; and Raymond Graves, lead lender relations specialist.

To honor Medina small businesses, breakfast was catered by Partake Kitchen, 540 Blake Ave., and coffee was provided by Coffee Colony, 113 N. Huntington St.
