The Medina High School Choral Music Department will present “Showtime 2026: Quantum – Music Through the Ages” May 7-9 at the Medina Performing Arts Center, 851 Weymouth Road.
A Medina High School tradition since 1970, Showtime features high-energy, fully choreographed performances from all six high school choirs, along with a variety of small groups and soloists. Performances are accompanied by a student instrumental pit band, creating a dynamic experience for audiences of all ages. The family-friendly event showcases musical talent as well as the leadership, dedication and creativity of Medina students.
This year’s theme, “Quantum – Music Through the Ages,” takes audiences on a journey through time with a mix of classic and contemporary selections, including “Feeling Good,” “Stayin’ Alive,” “Sign of the Times,” “Girls Just Want to Have Fun,” “Great Balls of Fire” and “I Want It That Way.” The show also features musical theater selections from “Guys and Dolls,” “Mamma Mia!,” “Hamilton,” “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” and more.
Performances are scheduled for 5:30 p.m. May 7 and 7 p.m. May 8-9.
Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for students and children younger than 18, and are available at the door and online. The May 7 performance is free for guests 63 and older with valid ID.
