Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach announces bus trips to Broadway, symphony
Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO) has announced its first bus trips for the 2025-26 season, offering audiences opportunities to experience Broadway shows, symphony concerts and cultural attractions.
The Broadway series at Cleveland’s Playhouse Square begins Oct. 19 with Hell’s Kitchen. The schedule continues with the award-winning Suffs on Feb. 22, 2026; Water for Elephants on March 22, 2026; The Outsiders on May 3, 2026; and a new musical adaptation of The Great Gatsby on June 20, 2026.
Buses depart from Buehler’s River Styx in Medina at 5 p.m. Each trip includes a catered meal, beverages, homemade cookies, chocolates, a trivia quiz and direct service to Playhouse Square’s front doors. All-inclusive tickets with orchestra seating are $140; balcony seating is $120. Seating is limited. Reservations are available at ormaco.org or by calling 419-853-6016.
Now in its 16th year, ORMACO will also travel to Akron’s E.J. Thomas Hall on Nov. 30, 2025, for Christmas with Cantus and a visit to the Zeber-Martell Gallery. The bus departs from Buehler’s River Styx at 1 p.m. Tickets are $85 for adults and $50 for students. Credit card fees apply unless paid by check.
Looking further ahead, ORMACO will host a three-night, four-day trip to Louisville, Kentucky, and Nashville, Tennessee, March 17-20, 2026. Highlights include a stop at the Derby Downs Museum in Louisville, a walking tour of Nashville, a bourbon tasting, southern barbecue, a visit to Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage estate, and the world premiere of Dolly Parton’s Threads: My Songs in Symphony with the Nashville Symphony. Details and pricing are available at ormaco.org or by calling 419-853-6016.
ORMACO’s mission is to make music, arts and culture accessible to all, with a focus on serving underserved, disadvantaged and rural populations. More information is available at ormaco.org.
