Medina High School’s 2025 Homecoming, themed “Worlds of Imagination,” brought the community together for a weekend of school spirit, creativity and perfect fall weather.
Festivities began Thursday with the annual parade, led by Grand Marshals Mayor Dennis Hanwell and wife Chris, followed by the Powderpuff football game between the junior and senior girls. Proceeds supported Link Crew, a program that helps freshmen transition into high school.
Friday night’s football game against Brunswick ended with a Student Council–sponsored fireworks show, and students wrapped up the weekend with Saturday’s dance, where Gabriella Tricomi was crowned Homecoming queen.
Throughout the week, students participated in themed dress-up days and hallway decorating contests. Seniors won first place with their “Wizard of Oz” hallway and raised the most funds for the Medina High School Food Pantry.
“From the parade to the pep rally, football game, fireworks and dance, Homecoming 2025 was truly a celebration of community, creativity and tradition,” said Student Council Advisor Laura Calaiacovo.
Organizers thanked the City of Medina, Medina City Schools Foundation, Medina Police Department, Alumni Committee and local businesses for their continued support of the annual event.
