Medina County Retired Teachers Association to hold June luncheon meeting
Program will highlight Boomhower Teacher Grant projects from Cloverleaf schools
The Medina County Retired Teachers Association will hold its second luncheon meeting of 2026 at noon June 9 at Williams on the Lake, 787 Lafayette Road, Medina. Doors open at 11:30 a.m.
The organization encourages attendees to bring a friend to reconnect with former colleagues, meet new people and learn about one-day bus trips, teacher grants, scholarships and other activities.
The buffet luncheon costs $16. Reservations are due by June 3 and may be made by contacting J. Zurrell, 2901 Hamlin Road, Medina, OH 44256, or by calling 330-723-2364. Checks should be made payable to MCRTA.
The program will feature presentations highlighting the 2025-26 Boomhower Teacher Grants. Rosie Thomas and Kaitlyn Nelson of Cloverleaf Elementary will present “Calm Down Corner: Home Base,” and Melissa Baccaire of Cloverleaf Middle School will discuss the eighth-grade Innovation Week Project.
All retired teachers and administrators are welcome, including substitute teachers, private school teachers and college educators.
