Elias to present ‘Murder and Mayhem in Chippewa Lake’

Rick Elias will present “Murder and Mayhem in Chippewa Lake,” a program on pre-1960 local history, at the Chippewa Lake Historical Society meeting Aug. 28 at the Chippewa Lake Community Center.

Following extensive research, Rick Elias will present a program titled “Murder and Mayhem in Chippewa Lake” at the Aug. 28 meeting of the Chippewa Lake Historical Society.

A brief business meeting will precede the program, beginning at 7 p.m., at the Chippewa Lake Community Center, 24 Circle Crest Drive. The public is invited to attend.

Elias said all the events he will discuss happened prior to 1960, making the program especially relevant to those interested in local history.
