WCCF announces grants from women's, children's funds

The Wayne County Community Foundation recently announced the 2024 grant awards from The Women’s Fund and the Wayne County Children’s Resource Fund.

The Women’s Fund

The Women’s Fund was established to impact the lives of women and children in Wayne County by directing resources to organizations that support the education of women and empower change and self-sufficiency.

The Wayne County Community Foundation announced the 2024 grant awards from The Women’s Fund totaling $39,600. Based on the evaluations and recommendations from The Women’s Fund Advisory Committee, the WCCF Board of Trustees approved the following grant awards:

—OneEighty Inc.received a $30,000 grant to cover personnel costs to cover the increased needs for shelter staff to provide safety and comprehensive services to victims of human trafficking.
