Garaway wrestling finishes second at Inter-Valley Conference Tournament

The Garaway wrestling team finished second at the Inter-Valley Conference Tournament Feb. 11 at Claymont High School.

Bryce Books (106 pounds), Matt Frey (175), Dillon King (190), Thomas Grimm (215) and Bobby Bowers (heavyweight) all won titles for the Pirates. Mitchell Tetreault (150) and Colton Domer (165) placed second while Alex Hamsher (157) placed third.

Garaway advanced to districts by finishing fifth at the 23-team Division II Boulevard Lanes Sectional Feb. 11.

Harmony Clymer (191-177-154-522) and Erin Meek (130-129-161-420) led the Pirates.
