Hiland boys, girls secure IVC South titles
Hiland boys win in overtime; girls clinch division with Ridgewood victory.
The Hiland boys basketball team pulled out a 68-58 overtime victory over Wester Reserve Academy in nonleague action Feb. 17.
Caleb Yoder (22 points), Ryan Zerger (18) and CJ Yoder (17) led the Hawks.
Hiland picked up a 61-37 win over Indian Valley in Inter-Valley Conference play Feb. 12.
The Hawks finished 12-0 in the IVC South, winning the division title.
Zerger (16), CJ Yoder (11) and Alex Miller (11) led the way in the win over the Braves.
Girls basketball
Hiland clinched a share of the IVC South Division title by beating Ridgewood 67-34 on Feb. 13.
Perryn Mishler (20 points, four rebounds, three assists, four steals), Reagan Zerger (15 points, eight rebounds, three assists, five blocks), Macy Mullet (11 points, six assists) and Payton Yoder (eight points) led the Hawks.
