TOPS Nashville reports slight weight gain
Geneva Pringle and Lana Rush recognized for weight loss achievements at club meeting
On Feb. 25, TOPS1573 Nashville reported a one-quarter-pound overall gain for the week.
The best weekly loser encouraged members to drink one glass of water first thing in the morning. Geneva Pringle was recognized as the best monthly loser, and Lana Rush was named the best weekly and monthly KOPS.
The program featured content from the October/November 2025 issue of Reader’s Digest titled “Small Changes — Big Results.” The presentation focused on how small environmental adjustments can lead to meaningful health improvements. Suggestions included spending time outdoors, avoiding coffee after noon, setting a bedtime alarm, cooling the bedroom, incorporating short movement bursts, going barefoot at home, eating fiber at every meal, taking a walk after dinner, wearing socks to bed and using chopsticks with a small plate.
The club meets at 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays at the Nashville Global Methodist Church, with weigh-in at 5 p.m.
