State Route 515 will close to traffic in Walnut Creek from state Route 39 to U.S. Route 62 for two roadway projects starting June 2.

Starting June 2, state Route 515 will close to traffic in Walnut Creek from state Route 39 to U.S. Route 62 for two roadway projects.

These projects consist of a culvert replacement and the construction of a retaining wall in downtown Walnut Creek (closure duration is 60 days), as well as a major pavement rehabilitation project (closure duration is 75 days) from Walnut Street in Walnut Creek to the intersection of U.S. Route 62 and state Route 515.

The official detour is state Route 39 West to U.S. 62 East, U.S. 62 East back to state Route 515 and reverse.
