Save & Serve raises $4,608 for Love Center Food Pantry

Volunteers from the Love Center Food Pantry stepped in as cashiers for the day, helping create a welcoming and meaningful shopping experience.

Save & Serve Thrift Shop hosted a Community Benefit Day in July to support the Love Center Food Pantry, raising $4,608.25 to help further their work fighting food insecurity in Holmes County.

The Love Center Food Pantry serves individuals and families across the region with access to groceries, household staples and caring support. With rising costs and growing need, this donation helps ensure more neighbors can keep food on the table.

“As we mark 50 years of serving together, it’s fitting to support a local partner that’s been walking alongside this community for decades,” said Eric Raber, executive director of Save & Serve. “The Love Center is meeting immediate needs every week, and we’re honored to come alongside them in that work.”

Benefit Days are special events held throughout the year when 100% of Save & Serve’s sales are donated to a single nonprofit organization. These days are one way the store gives back, supporting local efforts that align with its mission of meeting basic human needs in the name of Christ.
