Sacred Ground creates endowment with Holmes County Education & Community Foundation

Sacred Ground, a faith-based nonprofit organization serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, has established a new agency endowment fund at the Holmes County Education & Community Foundation. This fund will provide lasting financial support to advance Sacred Ground’s mission of cultivating an environment of belonging and purpose for people with IDD and their families.

Sacred Ground provides day services and transportation for adults with IDD in Holmes, Wayne and Tuscarawas counties, helping individuals build meaningful relationships, pursue personal growth and participate fully in community life.

“We are honored to partner with the Holmes County Education & Community Foundation to ensure that our work continues for generations to come,” said Griffin Long, executive director of Sacred Ground. “This endowment represents our long-term commitment to the people we serve and the communities that support them.”

By establishing the Sacred Ground Fund, the organization joins a growing network of local nonprofits working with HCECF to strengthen their missions through sustainable, endowed resources. The fund’s earnings will provide annual support to Sacred Ground’s programs, ensuring continued services and opportunities for individuals with IDD.
