After six memorable years in the heart of Historic Downtown Millersburg, New Towne Gallery will close its downtown location on Sept. 30. While this marks the end of a cherished chapter for owner Mark Miller, he and the business are moving forward with deep gratitude for all this space has represented, not just as a gallery, but also as a gathering place for creativity, community and connection.

“Over the past years, we’ve had the honor of showcasing the work of incredibly talented regional and national artists, hosting countless conversations that sparked inspiration and welcoming visitors from near and far who came seeking beauty, reflection and a sense of belonging,” Miller said. “We’ve witnessed lives touched by art, friendships formed between strangers and moments of quiet joy that will stay with us always.

“To everyone who has been part of this journey — our artists, customers, visitors, community partners, family and friends — thank you. Your support has been the foundation of everything we’ve built and experienced together.”

Miller invites the public to stop by for a visit during Customer Appreciation Day on Saturday, Aug. 23 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. This day is dedicated to the community and to all the loyal supporters and will include refreshments, music, gallery-wide sales and an opportunity to experience the gallery space that has meant so much to many people in the community over the past six years.

“We hope you’ll stop in, reminisce with us and perhaps find that one piece you’ve always loved,” Miller said. “Thank you for helping make New Towne Gallery what it has been: a home for the arts and a space shaped by passion, purpose and people.”
