Weekly Blessing
Let my rest in you be enough
Local writer’s prayerful poem reflects trust, surrender and finding peace in God amid life’s worries
Lord, I pray that others would see you in me.
I pray that my life would reflect your majesty.
Cause me to yield to your ways
And exhibit peace the rest of my days.
Let my walk be pleasing in your eyes,
As my walk with you continually abides.
Take away all fear and doubt.
This is what life is all about.
Mend my ways, Lord, when I'm weak.
Let my dependence upon you be my daily seek.
Let me not be moved by what I see and hear,
But only your truth God to enter my ear.
When I've run too far ahead,
Show me how to wait on you instead.
When I feel worn and tired from life's stuff,
Let my rest in you be enough.
