It's by God's power

The enemy can never sneak past God,

Not even with a masked facade.

God has the enemy penned.

He knows the enemy's end!

Now the enemy may seem a bit clever,

But the Lord knows his every endeavor!

God is all knowing, powerful and mighty indeed!

God overtakes the enemy's seeming lead.

We may walk through briars and thistles,

But the Lord makes smooth paths with his chisel!

Just like the lost sheep that got tangled in the thicket,

Jesus holds us with his arms strong like briquette!

There's not a place we go where the Lord doesn't see.

God's eyes are everywhere watching you and me!

Placing our trust in his care

Makes us secure knowing he's there!

The Lord takes all of our fears and gives us his peace.

Only with Jesus and in his hands our fears we release.

God said to be still and know that he is God.

He knows when we feel weak with a heavy trod.

He gives us shelter under his wings

And rest when we're weary from things.

God knows when we've taken on so much.

He comforts us with his tender touch!

God also prepares for us a table,

In the presence of our enemies — God is able!

To do abundantly above all we could think or ask.

It's by his power that works in us that fulfills God's task!
