Hiland baseball pasta dinner fundraiser set for Jan. 27

A time-honored and delicious favorite is right around the corner.

For those who love Italian food, the Hiland Hawks baseball team will host its annual Hiland Baseball pasta dinner fundraiser Tuesday, Jan. 27, in the Hiland High School cafeteria. It is a meal filled with a variety of Italian dishes, as well as garlic bread, Italian salad, desserts and plenty of great conversation.

With the Hiland players and staff doing the serving, it also gives people a chance to hear updates on Hiland’s attempt to chase down a state-record fourth consecutive state championship.

The dinner will take place from 4:30-7 p.m. before the Hawks’ basketball game with Tuscarawas Valley. Admission is by donation. All proceeds will go toward the Hiland Hawks baseball program.

Along with the dinner will be the annual prize raffle. Tickets can be purchased in advance from a Hiland baseball player or during the pasta dinner. The drawing will take place at 6:15 p.m. the night of the pasta dinner.
