YMCA of Wayne County golf outing planned at Fire Ridge

The YMCA of Wayne County is inviting the community to tee off at its 17th annual “Fore the Kids” Golf Outing, set for May 15 at the newly selected Fire Ridge Golf Course in Millersburg.

The outing raises vital funds to support YMCA youth programs, scholarships and community initiatives that ensure local children and families have access to healthy activities, mentorship and safe spaces.

“This event is one of our most important fundraisers of the year,” said organizers from the YMCA of Wayne County. “Every dollar raised helps us provide opportunities for kids in our community to learn, grow and thrive.”

Local businesses and organizations can get involved through a variety of sponsorship opportunities, ranging from $150 hole sponsorships to $600 corporate sponsorships. Sponsors receive promotional benefits, such as signage on the course, logo placement on event materials and recognition on social media.

The event is sponsored by Built-Rite Box & Crate, a regional leader in wood packaging solutions.
