Wooster families invited to Kids Day
Main Street Wooster event will feature games and children’s activities
Main Street Wooster will host Kids Day from noon to 3 p.m. June 13 at the Wayne County Public Library, 220 W. Liberty St., Wooster.
The annual event is free to attend and welcomes children of all ages.
Throughout the afternoon local businesses and organizations will host interactive games, hands-on activities and kid-friendly experiences in downtown Wooster.
The All-American Kid Awards Ceremony, presented by The Village Network, will begin at 1:30 p.m. Teachers from Wooster City Schools submitted nominations recognizing students who have demonstrated outstanding character, academic achievement and athletic excellence throughout the school year. Selected students will be honored during the ceremony.
“Kids Day is all about celebrating the incredible children and families in our community while creating joyful summer memories together,” Main Street Wooster project manager Kerri Kiel said. “We are so excited to welcome everyone for an afternoon of fun, encouragement and community spirit.”
More information is available on Main Street Wooster’s Facebook and Instagram pages and at www.MainStreetWooster.org.
