Martha Campbell is the featured speaker of the 2025 Women’s Success Series Friday, May 2 from 8:30-11 a.m. at Kent State Tuscarawas in the Science and Advanced Technology Center. The cost to attend is $15 when paid in advance and $20 at the door. The fee includes a continental breakfast.

The Women’s Success Series is designed to inspire women of all ages to succeed personally and professionally. Each year the leadership series features three women who have enjoyed a measure of success in Tuscarawas County. The sessions also include networking opportunities and discussions.

“We are so happy to welcome Martha as our second speaker of the season,” said Wendy Zucal, director of Dennison Railroad Depot Museum and one of the event organizers. “We are blessed in this community to have so many strong women to lead in the business community. Martha will use humor to bring a great message to our audience, which is comprised of women of all ages and from all walks of life. It creates an interesting mix and leads to dynamic and thoughtful discussions, fellowship and networking.”

Campbell has served as the office manager for the Tuscarawas County Engineer’s Office for 36 years. She has logged more than 20,000 volunteer hours to many organizations throughout Ohio.

Her passion to serve others can be seen through her involvement with the Polar Express train rides, Pro Football Hall of Fame, Ohio State Alumni Club of Tuscarawas County, Claymont Foundation, Buckeye Cruise for Cancer, 2nd & 7 Foundation, Miss Clayland Scholarship Program and Joshua Perry Family Foundation.

Campbell also serves as a member of the Claymont Board of Education. She is a 2003 graduate of Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in political science.

The Women’s Success Series is sponsored by Dennison Railroad Depot Museum and Kent State Tuscarawas in collaboration with Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District and the Tuscarawas Economic Development Corporation.

Other organizations contributing to the Women’s Success Series are Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital, First Federal Community Bank, First National Bank of Dennison, Rodriguez’s House of Stones, Tuscarawas County Convention & Visitors Bureau, TuscoMFG and Tuscarawas County Chamber of Commerce.

In addition to Zucal, planning committee members include Adria Bergeron from Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District, Charity Waugh and Deborah Ellwood from Kent State Tuscarawas, and Taylur Cunningham from the Dennison Railroad Depot Museum.

The registration deadline for the session is April 25. Registrations are limited to the first 100 participants. To register online, visit MarthaCampbell.eventbrite.com.
