Induction ceremony set for March 5 at the high school auditorium
Marlington High School tapped 27 students for National Honor Society membership, with a formal induction ceremony set for March 5.

The Marlington High School chapter of the National Honor Society tapped 27 students for membership Feb. 20. The tapping was conducted by NHS President Kaden Tucker and current members. A formal induction ceremony will be held March 5 at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium.
New members are Chloe Boy, Meghan Kirby, Mia Vigliotti, Allison Bailey, Emma Boyce, Brincyn Boyce, Jake Bullock, Isabel Christian, Madison Coblentz, Talon Cyders, Garrett Dickerhoof, Justine Doringo, Cameron Evanich, Andrew Frederick, Jace Gates, Chloe Guinter, Landon Hawthorne, Carter Howard, Irelyn Johnson, Natalie Johnson, Ercole Jones, Colton Lane, Chelsea Miller, Cameron Ream, Claire Rice, Jacquelyn Seaburn and Leah Sommers.
The ceremony recognizes students who meet the four pillars of NHS: scholarship, service, leadership and character.
The National Honor Society seeks to create enthusiasm for scholarship, recognize outstanding students, stimulate a desire to render service, promote leadership and develop character in secondary school students.
