Hartville Garden Club to host annual mum sale Aug. 30

The Hartville Garden Club will hold its annual mum sale Aug. 30 on Maple Street, offering $8 mums from Gentle Brook Greenhouse to support the club’s village beautification efforts.

The Hartville Garden Club will hold its annual mum sale Saturday, Aug. 30, in front of the Thrift Shoppe on Maple Street.

The mums, grown at Gentle Brook Greenhouse, will be available in a wide variety of colors for $8 per pot. The sale begins at 10 a.m., and members of the club will be on hand to sell the flowers.

The club maintains the flower boxes at the entrances of the village with flowers in summer and greens in winter. Membership is open to anyone, with meetings held the second Tuesday of each month except January and December. The club is affiliated with The Garden Club of Ohio and The Canton Garden Center.
