Volunteers are at the heart of everything Urban Mission does and they provide much needed support to various programs and ministries.

Urban Mission Ministries invites all community members to a public open house April 15 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. The event offers an opportunity for residents to tour the mission’s food pantry facility, learn about its ministries and meet the team working to support neighbors throughout the region.

Visitors will be able to explore the mission’s programs firsthand and discover ways to get involved through volunteering, giving or community partnership.

Guests are asked to park at the Seventh Street Plaza and walk across the street to the mission’s location at 311 N. Sixth St., Steubenville. Entry is through the double glass doors facing Sixth Street.

RSVP is required. Those who wish to share their plans to attend may do so by contacting karbaugh@urbanmission.org or calling 740-282-8010.

“We are excited to welcome our neighbors into our space and show the work that is being done each day to support our community,” said Rev. Kimberly Arbaugh.
