Tri-County Help Center to host Chalk the Walk at Sally Buffalo Park
Organizers said the event aims to raise awareness, spark meaningful conversations and strengthen the community’s commitment
Tri-County Help Center Inc. will host Chalk the Walk at Sally Buffalo Park April 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The three-hour public event will invite participants to bring their dogs and join Tri-County Help Center and Harrison County Dog Pound volunteers for a walk through the park while decorating sidewalks with messages of support, awareness and solidarity for survivors of sexual assault.
Organizers said the event aims to raise awareness, spark meaningful conversations and strengthen the community’s commitment to ending sexual violence and victim blaming through creativity, connection and shared purpose.
Free refreshments will be available for people and pets. Door prizes also will be offered. All are welcome.
Sally Buffalo Park is located at 43000 Industrial Park Road, Cadiz.
