LASCO to offer free record sealing, expungement clinic in Cadiz
People are not eligible to apply if they are currently on probation or community control
Legal Aid of Southeast and Central Ohio will hold a free clinic to help eligible low-income residents determine whether their criminal records can be sealed or expunged and to assist with completing court applications.
The clinic will be held Friday, March 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Puskarich Public Library, 200 E. Market St., Cadiz.
To check eligibility, call 614-254-5211 or preregister online at Clinic Online Intake. Preregistration is strongly encouraged.
Clients will be helped on a first-come, first-served basis, and Legal Aid cannot guarantee service to everyone who registers or walks in.
People are not eligible to apply if they are currently on probation or community control or have an open case with a court. OVI and traffic convictions cannot be sealed or expunged.
A law passed in 2023 expanded eligibility for some Ohioans who previously did not qualify for record sealing or expungement.
