Harrison County 4-H clubs serve community
4-H members are busy in the community decorating windows and completing community projects
With the Harrison County Fair right around the corner, 4-H members are busy in the community decorating windows and completing community projects. Two 4-H groups recently were out serving in the county.
Country Jewels 4-H Club held a bake sale at The BrightSide Tavern in Jewett. The bake sale benefited the Harrison County Dog Pound volunteers to help provide vet care for the dogs at the pound. The group donated $650 to help care for the animals.
Cadiz Ranchers also were busy in the community. Each year, the group works to beautify the Harrison County Home by cleaning and planting flower gardens. Residents look forward to the plants and flowers and also to visits from young people.
