Why should residents of Cadiz should vote for you?

"Residents of Cadiz should vote for me because I always put the citizens first. When someone reaches out with a question or concern about something happening in the village, I make it a priority to find an answer and get back to them. My goal is to ensure every resident feels heard, respected and informed about the decisions that affect our community."

"Dealing with government issues seems to be a timely process that takes lots of patience. Everything has to be thought out and discussed with other members of council, the mayor, and the community before acting and voting on it. Citizens coming to the council meeting to discuss concerns within the village helps council make some decisions. We are all live in this little village together. and need to support each other through good and bad times."

What issues facing Cadiz are you most concerned about?

"Water I feel the village needs to drill three more new wells out by the fairgrounds. Plus use the old two wells already there and we would have better drinking water in my opinion. Tappan is a major resource for water, but no filter system compares to the nature filtering of the earth."

What sets you apart from other candidates?

"Nothing sets me apart from the other candidates, because we all care about the village of Cadiz and we try to do what is best for the citizens of Cadiz."

What do you hope to accomplish if re-elected?

"Getting the village a backup water supply."

Why should residents of Cadiz should vote for you?

"I’m a lifelong resident of Cadiz. I have raised two boys in Cadiz who continue to reside in our village. I participate in a variety of things that help our village including parents clubs, past member of fire department, Mark at the Park committee, Sally Buffalo Park Board and many other committees over the last eight years that help the betterment of our village."

Please share about your experience as a current council member.

"It’s been a great experience. When I first was elected in 2016 when the gas and oil boom was coming to our village. While also working through Covid and watching our village change for the best. We continue to grow and move in the right direction."

What issues facing Cadiz are you most concerned about?

"Infrastructure has always been a challenge for our village. While other villages are going through the same challenges, we were able to get in front of it by working with the state, army core of engineers, Ohio EPA and HUD by getting fully funded or partially funded projects for these challenges we have faced for so many years."

What sets you apart from other candidates?

"Experience is one of my greatest strengths. I have worked closely with the Ohio EPA, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, the USDA, Rural Development, the Chamber of Commerce, the Ohio Public Works Commission, the Cadiz Business Association, the Harrison County CIC and our own village CIC. Building and maintaining strong relationships with these organizations has allowed me to secure funding for multiple business and community projects, either fully or partially, through loans and grants."

What do you hope to accomplish if re-elected?

"Continue to work with our administration with on water infrastructure. Continue to Add more youth activities in Sally Buffalo Park. Work to pave more roads. Revitalize our downtown with more opportunities for the public. Any decision made by passage of ordinance I have always put the betterment of the village first. I want to continue to help our village grow and thrive for years to come. I hope I have earned your trust and you know I have the best intentions for our village."

Why should residents of Cadiz vote for you?

"I believe in the strength of small-town life and the values that make Cadiz special—neighbors helping neighbors, community pride, and shared purpose. Growing up in the greater Cleveland area, it was not common to know your neighbors or feel connected outside of school or church. Here in Cadiz, that sense of belonging is very real. My family experienced it firsthand throughout our daughter’s diagnosis. The people and businesses of this village surrounded us with support that continues even now. That compassion inspired me to stay involved and continue giving back."

"My wife and I have built our lives here, raising our family in Cadiz, operating a small business, and establishing a nonprofit dedicated to helping others. I want to remain involved to ensure that the next generation of families sees Cadiz as a place they want to raise their own children, build their lives, and be proud to call home."

"Serving on council has been a privilege and, at times, a challenge; one that has led to real progress. We have been able to strengthen our partnerships with state and local agencies and ensure Cadiz continues to move in the right direction. In my first tenure, I supported the reinstatement of our police K-9 units, which have played an important role in helping reduce drug-related crime. There have been many improvements at Sally Buffalo Park and efforts to make village amenities like the park and Wallace Lodge more accessible for family and community events. I am especially proud of the increase in community involvement at council meetings during my first term. Open communication has given us valuable opportunities to see issues through the lens of the people we serve, helping council make more informed, community driven decisions."

"As a member of the finance committee, and in conjunction with Village Administrator Brandon Ludwig’s leadership, we have been able to create more competitive jobs within the village while still offering some of the best benefits in the area and improving long-term employee retention. We have been able to budget for more road paving than in years past as well. With some additional funding help through our relationship with the Village CIC, we’ve made improvements that we can all appreciate."

What issues facing Cadiz are you most concerned about?

"Our top priority right now is ensuring that every resident has access to clean, reliable water. The turbidity issues over the summer and the water discoloration that has occurred during line replacements have understandably caused frustration. I am committed to seeing this through. Continuing line replacement work, improving communication with residents, and ensuring we meet or exceed standards is critical for the community. This issue touches every household, and addressing it fully remains my focus."

"Beyond water quality, I will continue supporting enhancements to Sally Buffalo Park and encouraging family-focused community programming that brings people together and celebrates all that Cadiz has to offer."

What sets you apart from other candidates?

"My family is deeply rooted in this community. My wife, Amanda, has operated Amanda’s Dance Academy in Cadiz for 15 years, helping nurture confidence and creativity in local youth. Together, we founded Pathways for Inclusion, a nonprofit that provides support and resources for families and individuals with disabilities throughout Harrison County."

"Professionally, my private and public industry project management and strategic planning background helps me navigate complex challenges while maintaining accountability and focus. Personally, I bring heart, as a husband, father, and neighbor who’s fully invested in Cadiz’s future."

What do you hope to accomplish if re-elected?

"If re-elected, I will continue leading efforts to resolve our water system challenges, ensuring Cadiz meets and exceeds EPA requirements while improving transparency with residents. I will support continued investment in our park, historic uptown district, and community programming, ensuring every resident from young families to seniors, feels welcome and included. My focus remains on fostering a village that balances growth with tradition and remains a safe, supportive, and thriving place for all us who are and those who will call Cadiz, home."
