SLURP opens on Walnut Street
SLURP Dirty Soda Co. takes your favorite carbonated beverage to a whole new level.
Pick your soda, lemonade, soda water, Red Bull or Alani; add a syrup or two; and select a cream and enjoy.
“I started mixing flavored waters and then adding a little to sodas,” said Mandy Ramsey, who started SLURP. “I watch the 'Secret Lives of the Mormon Wives,' and dirty sodas are big with them in Utah. I thought someone should do them here and figured it might as well be me.”
Ramsey opened SLURP on July 31 at 711 Walnut St. in Coshocton.
“The energy drinks have been doing very well,” she said. “They are hands down the top request.”
SLURP’s menu includes a list of signature drinks, the create-your-own option and add-ons like boba. They also will have seasonal flavors, Dippin’ Dots and a kid-size drink. In the future Ramsey hopes to offer ice lattes, a drive-up window and to be able take the business mobile.
Hours at SLURP are Wednesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 5 p.m.
“We’ve had a very good response,” Ramsey said. “The community has been supportive, and we’ve had a lot of repeat customers.”
