Roach captures Supreme Showmanship title at Coshocton County Junior Fair Dog Show
Young handlers showcased skill, creativity and strong bonds with their dogs in obedience, showmanship and costume classes at the annual fair event.
Kenzie Roach said she loves her dog, and the bond between them showed at the 2025 Coshocton County Junior Fair Dog Show on Sept. 28.
Roach won Supreme Showmanship, was first in age 8-13 exhibitor or dog previously shown showmanship, was third in pre-novice obedience and was second in the costume class.
Kaya Bower took first in the costume class with “The Lorax” outfits created just for her and her two dogs. She also competed in obedience and showmanship.
“This is my first year showing both dogs,” Bower said. “I liked sharing their talents and seeing how they performed.”
Olivia Clark also enjoyed competing in the show.
“I like to bond with my dog,” she said.
Clark took second in pre-novice obedience and third in the costume class.
“I was hoping for first, but I knew he did some things wrong and had some trouble,” she said.
Myleah Chanay was first in pre-novice obedience.
“I love my dog, and I like getting to dress up for the costume class,” she said.
