Prairie Chapel hosts Easter events
Join the community in Coshocton County for services and activities April 2-5
Prairie Chapel Methodist Church invites the community to special events leading up to the Easter celebration.
Activities will start with the Maundy Thursday observance at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 2 with the reenactment of The Last Supper.
The annual Easter egg hunt will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 4 with a lunch to follow.
Easter Sunday will begin with a Sonrise Service outside, weather permitting, at the three crosses next to the church at 6:45 a.m., followed by breakfast prepared by the men of the church at 7:15 a.m. Sunday school for all ages will begin at 9:15 a.m., followed by the Resurrection Celebration at 10:30 a.m. in the sanctuary.
Prairie Chapel Church is located at 45494 County Road 23, right off U.S. 36. Pastor Carolyn Christman and the congregation invites the community to the celebrations.
