Balloon festival held at fairgrounds
The free June 4-6 event at the Coshocton County Fairgrounds featured night glow displays, rides, vendors and pilot meet-and-greets
The Coshocton Hot Air Balloon Festival is one of the oldest in Ohio and considered one of the best for people of all ages. This year's festival ran June 4-6 with tethered balloon rides, midway carnival rides, live entertainment, craft vendors, food trucks and fireworks.
On Friday evening the balloons were inflated on the field, with their burners ignited to create an unforgettable display of light and color for the night glow.
The festival included a pilot meet and greet where anyone could speak with the pilots along with an opportunity to collect trading cards.
This free festival was organized by an all-volunteer committee with the support of many generous sponsors.
The Coshocton Hot Air Balloon Festival has been presented for over 40 years at the Coshocton County Fairgrounds, 707 Kenilworth Ave. This location allows plenty of space for the balloons, food vendors, entertainment, along with great activities, all day long for all ages.
