Museum preschool series to explore music
Free January program at Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum introduces young children to music through stories, crafts and hands-on activities.
Join a hands-on preschool program all about music at the Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum. Every Thursday, Jan. 8-29 from 10-11 a.m., kids will participate in activities, stories and crafts that teach them about playing music, listening to music and musicians from around the world.
This program is geared toward children age 3-5, but those a little younger and a little older are welcome. It is offered free of charge with the support of The Ohio Arts Council. Visit www.jhmuseum.org/preschool to register or call 740-622-8710.
The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum is in Historic Roscoe Village at 300 N. Whitewoman St. in Coshocton. Museum hours are Tuesday through Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. beginning Friday, Jan. 2. All Sundays are free admission to Coshocton County residents.
