Lady Generals edge Conotton Valley in Jan. 8 bowling match
Ridgewood girls won by 20 pins at Legacy Lanes, while the Generals boys team fell to Conotton Valley.
Ridgewood and Conotton Valley squared off Jan. 8 at Legacy Lanes with the Lady Generals coming away with a narrow victory while the Ridgewood boys were defeated.
The Ridgewood girls team earned a hard-fought win, edging Conotton Valley 1,628-1,608. Harlea Beckett led the Lady Generals with a 324 series. Kaydence Lahna and Avery Ehasz also turned in solid performances, rolling series of 310 and 306, respectively. Josie Stanton added a 259 as Ridgewood held on down the stretch to secure the win.
On the boys side, Conotton Valley took control early and cruised to a 2,015-1,498 victory over the Generals. Steven Beckett paced Ridgewood with a 354 series. Mike Lorello rolled a 410 series to lead the Rockets.
