'Four Old Broads' comedy hits Coshocton stage
Triple Locks Theater to host lively play about seniors' adventures starting March 20
Next up on the Triple Locks Theater stage is the comedy, “Four Old Broads.”
“Four Old Broads” is a PG-13 play that follows four sassy senior ladies as they wrestle with the topics of aging and beauty, mystery, Caribbean cruises, love, Elvis, and burglary.
The ladies of Magnolia Place Assisted Living — Beatrice, Eaddy, Imogene and Maude — need a break from bingo and macramé. They want to take a seniors’ Caribbean cruise. Unfortunately, things have not been pleasant since nasty Nurse Pat came to work at Magnolia Place.
A devious plot threatens the comfort of all the ladies. Hilarity ensues as they use their mature wit, smart mouths and sleuthing skills to reveal secrets, mysteries and answers to some of the most vexing questions of the ages.
The cast consists of Ellen Hardesty (Beatrice), Sheila Mayse (Eaddy), Chris Scyks (Imogene) and Sarah Fornara (Maude) as the four old broads. Eric Conkling plays Sam Smith, a semi-retired Elvis impersonator. Dana Kittner is Nurse Pat. Chyanne Foster rounds out the cast as Nursing Assistant Ruby Sue.
Directed by Nathan Mayse and produced by Jackie McCune, the Footlight Players will present “Four Old Broads” at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, March 20-21 and 27-28 and at 2:30 p.m. Sundays, March 22 and 29 at Triple Locks Theater, 685 N. Whitewoman St., Coshocton. Tickets are on sale at www.footlightplayers.com.
