Eagle Scout adds Little Free Library to sheriff’s office safe zone

Project by Faith Udichias will give children books to borrow or share during custody exchanges.

Now that a designated safe zone has been specified at the Coshocton County Sheriff's Office for child custody exchanges, there is soon to be something children can take with them if they like.

Faith Udichias is an Eagle Scout and working on a Little Free Library to add to the safe zone. It will be a place where kids can grab a book while they wait and bring it back the next time or add one of their own.

Sheriff Chris Walters said it's going to be named after Faith, the daughter of jail administrator Lt. Chip Udichias.

The pickup and drop-off of books will be as easy as the safe zone is and ready in a few weeks.
