Doggie paddle day is Sept. 2 at Coshocton Lake Park Aquatic Center
Doggie paddle day at Lake Park Aquatic Center will be held Tuesday, Sept. 2 from 4-7 p.m.
Entry is $5 or a donation of items such as KMR Kitten Formula, canned or dry kitten food, Purina cat food (blue bag), Purina chicken and rice dog food, puppy food, paper towels, bleach, laundry items, floor disinfectant, Dawn dish soap, catnip, Temptations Cat Treats, long-lasting chew bones, pet toys, and pet treats.
Dogs must be under control at all times. Humans are only allowed in the shallow end, knee deep, as there are no lifeguards on duty. Owners must clean up after their pups. Dogs and humans must behave around other dogs and humans.
Proceeds will be donated to the Coshocton County Animal Shelter and the Coshocton County Humane Society.
The doggie paddle day is sponsored by the Coshocton Veterinary Association. For more information call Lake Park at 740-622-7528. The aquatic center is located at 23253 state Route 83 N. in Coshocton.
