Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum’s Jan. 24 tasting event features curated pairings, dessert, music and fundraiser benefits for the museum
Beat the winter blues at the annual Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum dinner party, Beer, Bourbon and Bites, Saturday, Jan. 24.
The event will feature six pairings of bourbons, craft beers or wine with a culinary treat. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and the pairings will be served from 7-9 p.m., followed by a social hour during which diners may relax over dessert and music.
Patrons will need to select a type of pairing — beer, bourbon or wine — with their reservations. The evening will be casual, with guests moving from one table to another at their own pace. Registration will open Tuesday, Dec. 2. Tickets are $70, but Friends of the Museum members are $60. Nonalcoholic tickets are available for $40. Paid reservations by check, card or cash must be received by Friday, Jan. 16.
Beer, Bourbon and Bites is a fundraising event organized by the Friends of the Museum Board. All attendees will receive a three-month Friends membership, which includes free museum admission. For more information or to make reservations, call 740-622-8710, visit in person or purchase tickets at www.jhmuseum.org/bbb beginning Tuesday, Dec. 2.
