Area lady golfers receive All-East District honors

Ridgewood places four on All-Star teams; Generals’ coaches named District Coaches of the Year

The OHSAA Division II Girls Eastern District Golf All- Star Teams were announced. Earning All-East District first team were Ridgewood sophomore Brynn Harstine with a season average of 35, Ridgewood senior Jacey Hess with a 43 and Ridgewood senior Josie Stanton with a 44.

Earning second team all-district honors was Ridgewood sophomore Zoe Martin with an average of 46. Ridgewood senior Ava Rauh-Hill earned honorable mention with a 65 season average.

Ridgewood coaches Amy and Kevin Lott were recognized as the East District Coaches of the Year after guiding the Ridgewood Generals to their first IVC, district and sectional championships and the school's first girls team state tournament appearance.

In addition, River View’s Kortnee Mickle earned second-team all-district honors with a season average of 42.6. River View’s Addyson Blair earned honorable mention with a 53.38, along with a 57.5 average by Newcomerstown’s Jaide Miller.
