Rep. Robb Blasdel announces Capitol Square school transportation grant
Funding will help 81 Ohio schools cover bus costs for student trips to the Statehouse; applications due Sept. 22
State Rep. Monica Robb Blasdel, who represents Carroll County, announced that applications are now open for the Capitol Square Foundation School Transportation Grant.
Applications opened Sept. 15 and will close Sept. 22 at 11:59 p.m.
Robb Blasdel, who serves on the House Transportation Committee, emphasized the importance of giving students access to the Statehouse and its history.
“As a member of the Transportation Committee, I know how valuable these trips are,” she said. “This grant helps schools bring students to the Statehouse and experience our state’s government firsthand.”
The Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board and the Capitol Square Foundation will award grants to 81 schools across Ohio to help cover the cost of bus transportation to the Statehouse and its museum.
Applications must be submitted online by an authorized teacher or school administrator. For more information, email Rep79@ohiohouse.gov.
