The Ohio Department of Natural Resources Office of Coastal Management and Division of Parks and Watercraft, in partnership with the Ohio Sea Grant College Program, has opened registration for the 10th annual Ohio Marina Conference.

The conference will be held Thursday, Feb. 26, at the Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake. It will bring together marina owners, operators, staff and recreational boating industry professionals from across the state for a full day of education, networking and recognition.

This year’s conference will focus on protecting Ohio’s waterways while supporting safe, accessible and successful marina operations. Sessions will address boating accessibility, dredging, emergency management, ice conditions, fluctuating water levels and other issues affecting marina operations.

The conference will also recognize Ohio’s newly certified 2025 Clean Marinas and mark the milestone 10th year of the statewide event.

Early bird registration is $65 through Feb. 1. After that date, registration increases to $75. Registration includes a continental breakfast, lunch and refreshments.

The Ohio Clean Marinas Program was launched in 2004 with grant funding from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and is administered through ODNR’s Office of Coastal Management and the Ohio Sea Grant College Program. The program expanded statewide in 2015 with support from the ODNR Division of Parks and Watercraft.

The Clean Marinas Program is a voluntary partnership that encourages marinas and boaters to use practical solutions to keep Ohio’s coastal and inland waterways clean and to promote environmental stewardship through best management practices and awareness of environmental laws and regulations.
