Work is underway on a project to resurface nearly 5 miles of U.S. 250 from the Interstate 77/U.S. 250 interchange in New Philadelphia to the Schoenbrunn exit.

One lane of traffic will be maintained in both directions throughout construction.

The project will begin with guardrail repair work, followed by concrete joint repairs. Paving will begin after the repair work is complete.

The project is scheduled for completion by Oct. 31.
