South Town Fest brings live music to district on Aug. 9

Main Street Medina will host the 4th Annual South Town Arts & Music Festival on Saturday, Aug. 9, from 10:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. at multiple venues in and around Medina’s South Town District, located just south of Public Square.

Local bands will perform throughout the day, and the Mill Street Art Walk will feature more than 25 arts and crafts vendors.

Full schedule of bands, times and locations:

10:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m. — Mill Street Art Walk, 100 Mill St.

11 a.m.–5 p.m. — Woodsy’s Music Open Mic Lineup, Mill Street Art Walk Stage

11 a.m.–2 p.m. — The Adjustments, Keller Market & Café Bistro, 320 S. Court St.

11 a.m.–1 p.m. — Sunny Griffith, Farmhouse 1834/RJ Vernak, 309 S. Broadway St.

11 a.m.–10:30 p.m. — Rockin’ the Rails, Cin Dee’s Place, 232 W. Smith Rd.

12–2 p.m. — Rustic Skies, Black Cat Books & Oddities, 420 S. Court St.

2–5 p.m. — Skinny Moo, The Farmer’s Table, 320 S. Court St.

5–7 p.m. — Dave "Pop" Parsons, VCS Salon & Spa, 410 S. Court St.

7–10 p.m. — BackTrack, Medina Brewing Co./Big Dog Daddy’s, 320 S. Court St.

Big Dog Daddy’s, The Farmer’s Table and Keller Café will offer their regular menus along with special grab-and-go items for the festival.

The title sponsor for the event is Armstrong. Presenting sponsors are Acme Fresh Market and Hospice of the Western Reserve/Life’s Treasures Thrift Shop. The supporting sponsor is Renewal by Andersen. Partnering sponsors include Dominic’s Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant, JoJo’s Sports Bar & Grille, Sam Custer–State Farm, LeafFilter Gutter Protection, Bee Well Physical Therapy, Black Cat Books & Oddities, and VCS Salon & Spa.

The South Town Arts & Music Festival is hosted by Main Street Medina and the Ohio Arts Council.
