Here’s a look at other local teams’ possible tournament routes:
Girls soccer
Despite being unbeaten at the time of the vote (and still at press time), Medina’s girls soccer team was voted the fourth seed in the Division I Northeast District, which includes portions of Northwest Ohio as well. Medina (10-0-2) is seeded behind Perrysburg (10-0-1), Strongsville (8-1-2) and Walsh Jesuit (9-4-1).

The District 2 champ will take on the District 3 champ, likely Strongsville, in a regional semifinal at 7 p.m. Oct. 28 at Streetsboro’s Rocket Stadium.
Volleyball
Propelled by a strong second half after a slow start, Medina’s volleyball team (10-8) was voted the No. 7 seed in the Northeast Division I District. Top seeds went to Mentor (14-4), Perrysburg (15-5), St. Joseph Academy (11-5) and Massillon Jackson (11-5).
