Medina City Schools Foundation announces 2025-26 board of directors
Now in its 41st year, the foundation continues to expand scholarships, classroom grants and community engagement for Medina students.

The Medina City Schools Foundation has announced its 2025-26 board of directors, marking the organization’s 41st year of supporting local students and educators through scholarships, grants and community programs.
The executive board includes President Sarah Pagura, Past President Ken Stump, Vice Presidents Jamie Billig and Katie Hahn, Treasurer Jarrod Long, and Secretary Vickie Kania. The board of directors comprises Doug Dukes, Mark Farnham, Quinn Johnson, Jeff Karson, Melissa Kudley, Noel Zickefoose, Brad Brenner, Mike Schafer, Kristie Engler-Lynaugh, Mark Zickefoose and Mary McClurkin.
Foundation leaders said the group brings a diverse mix of experience in education, finance, community leadership, marketing and event planning — all united by a shared commitment to enhancing learning opportunities for Medina students.
This school year, the foundation has already awarded six classroom and club grants since August. It also administers more than 60 scholarships for graduating seniors, supports the Joyce B. Ebner Tutoring Center at Medina High School, funds the Summer Reinforcement Program, and recognizes 15 staff members annually with the “Going the Extra Mile” Award.
The foundation also engages alumni through two annual events: the 50-plus-year reunion and Homecoming Spirit Week and Parade.
Upcoming fundraising events for 2025-26 include the Scholarship Drive, Giving Tuesday campaign, Jingle Bell Raffle, Dueling Pianos night, Magic Gives Back and the SchoolHouse Run/Run4Fun.
The Medina City Schools Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization and a member of the Partnership Council, a collaborative group led by Kids 1st that includes school administrators, city and township officials, service organizations and PTOs.
