Main Street Medina’s fall lineup celebrates the season of cooler nights, sunny days and the sights and smells of autumn.
The season kicks off with the Fall Festival on Saturday, Sept. 27, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Medina’s Square. Families can enjoy a hay maze, pumpkin painting, apple art, a puppy parade and a petting zoo. The Medina Fall Festival Chili Cook-off will feature a “Fan Favorite” vote, with proceeds benefiting Cups Café. The festival coincides with the weekly Medina Square Farmers Market, which continues through Oct. 4.
Restaurant Week follows Oct. 3-12, with participating restaurants offering fall specials. Diners can sign up for the Restaurant Week passport for a chance to win daily prizes each time they visit.
Main Street Medina’s Ghost & Gobblin’ Walk on Oct. 16 sold out by Sept. 1, but two new “Mini Haunt” experiences have been added. The Haunted Cantina Experience on Thursday, Oct. 23, begins at Monarca Cantina, where guests can enjoy a Ghostly Dinner Special before gathering at the Medina Gazebo for an evening of eerie tales. The event concludes back at Monarca with a Shadow’s Embrace dessert. The Ghoulish Pub Experience on Wednesday, Oct. 29, begins at Sully’s Irish Pub with themed specials, then moves to the Medina Gazebo at 7 p.m. before returning to Sully’s for a Phantom Treat dessert.
The final Cars and Coffee cruise-in of the season takes place Sunday, Oct. 12, from 8 a.m. to noon, sponsored by Cool Beans. Visitors are encouraged to attend in costume and enjoy “trunk or treat” activities alongside nearly 200 classic, vintage and antique cars and trucks.
Ladies Night Out Witches Night returns Thursday, Oct. 23, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. with dining, shopping, giveaways and discounts at participating businesses. Attendees are encouraged to dress in witchy attire for a night of fun and frolic.
Those with a flair for decorating can enter the Flower Pot Decorating Contest, designing fall-themed arrangements for the large pots placed around Medina. Prizes will be awarded to the top three displays, chosen by Main Street Medina’s Design Committee.
The season closes with Medina’s Candlelight Walk, Nov. 21-23, which will usher in the holidays with the lighting of the square, the Parade of Lights and the Light Up the Night fireworks.
