Chippewa Lake Historical Society to hold final 2025 meeting Oct. 23
Event to feature Medina County prosecutor Tom Condosta on scam prevention, plus museum updates, raffles, and refreshments
The Chippewa Lake Historical Society invites the public to its final meeting of 2025 on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m. at the Chippewa Lake Community Center, 24 Circle Crest Drive.
Special guest speaker Tom Condosta, assistant Medina County prosecutor and director of the Medina County Scam Squad, will discuss different types of scams, how to recognize them, and the importance of reporting fraudulent activity. Attendees will learn how to protect themselves and what to do if they or a loved one become victims of scams or fraud.
A brief business meeting will precede Condosta’s presentation to provide updates on the museum project. Guests can update their memberships, take part in a 50/50 raffle and Christmas tree auction, and enjoy light refreshments. The building is handicap-accessible.
