Bonnie Porter presented a program from the TOPS website titled 4 Nourishing Practices for a Healthier You. The program emphasized prioritizing sleep, followed by speaking kindly — especially to oneself — and avoiding self-criticism after making mistakes. It also highlighted the importance of regular exercise and stretching. Healthy nutrition was described as eating a variety of foods that include all colors, with an overall focus on being kind to the body.
The club meets at the Nashville Global Methodist Church Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m., with weigh-in at 5 p.m.
